Enjoy an evening of prose, poetry, & Power–and a discussion on race, love and survival–with Tabias Olajuawon Wilson, author of Godless Circumcisions: A Recollecting & Remembering of Blackness, Queerness, & Flows of Survivance.
This event will showcase the Black and/or Queer (BlaQueer) Magic within us all, that (open) secret weapon we’ve long groomed, through the presentation of our truths, our power, our “us” via art, prose, poetry and power. Throught this reading of Tabias Olajuawon’s book of essays, poetry and cultural critiques–Godless Circumcisions–we engage in a rich discussion of race, sexuality and power; the issues animating our life and times. There will also be a book signing for those interested in making a purchase.
