A House for Mouse
Mouse has lived in the very same house in the very same tree since he was born there. Maybe it’s time to stretch his horizons. Perhaps it’s time to explore and maybe even to find a new home. As he marches through the forest over mountains and through meadows, he comes across a variety of houses and a number of characters from fairy tales. First, there are three little pigs and a big bad wolf, but that house won’t work. He finds the tower in which Rapunzel lives, but it’s not very nice. A house made of sugar, spice, and gingerbread wouldn’t survive rain, so he passes on it. The old woman who lives in a shoe has no room for mouse. Mouse keeps going until he finds a big castle and moves in, but it’s a lonely place to live.
