Biscuit and the Little Llamas (My First I Can Read)
Biscuit is off on an adventure to the springtime farm. He and his human find all sorts of animals. But Biscuit isn’t as interested in the animals, as he is playing tug-a-war. Even though his human asks him to stop, he keeps doing it, until the reader discovers that he is playing with someone else.
The illustrations are so beautiful. They have the perfect whimsical look that comes with a Biscuit book, as well as a great palate for springtime colors. The style is expertly done.
The text is for an easy reader. It is simple and great for kids learning to read their first books. The word usage is great to fit the age range.
As a teacher, this is perfect for a kindergarten or first grader to read aloud. It is a read-aloud great for pre-k students to listen to. Biscuit is a timeless classic that is loved by teachers and students alike.
My children loved Biscuit. At ages four and seven, they loved Biscuit playing tug-a-war. The four-year-old loved the llamas in the book.
