Core 52: A Fifteen-Minute Daily Guide to Build Your Bible IQ in a Year
Core 52: a Fifteen-Minute Daily Guide to Build Your Bible IQ in a Year by Mark E. Moore is another resource to use in order to learn and understand more about the Bible. There are fifty-two chapters, each meant to be studied fifteen minutes a day each week throughout the year. Rev. Moore explains in the introduction that “80% of church members wish to learn more about the Bible. In a survey conducted in Phoenix, 60% of those with an interest in the Bible weren’t even affiliated with a church.” Studying your Bible will bring you closer to God and more able to understand what he expects of his children.
Rev. Moore does an excellent job bringing to light topics within the Bible that are relevant to our daily lives. Within each week, the reader is given “homework” to help reinforce the given topic. Topics starting with creation, talking about prayer, predestination, the supernatural, communion, and heaven are some of the fifty-two topics mentioned in the Bible that should be studied even in our present time. Written from a non-denominational stance, it is still a worthwhile read, as it has you memorize key Bible verses and study the Scriptures on your own.
