Don’t Ask, Don’t Follow
Don’t Ask, Don’t Following is a fantastic suspense novel that will have readers on the edge of their seats. Beth Ralston, a paralegal who works for her father’s firm in Portland, Oregon finds her boss dead in his office during a company event. Fleeing the scene is her older sister, Lindsay. In the following days, Beth finds out that Lindsay, an environmental reporter, was researching adoption agencies. Did Lindsay think she was adopted or was this a story she was working on? What Beth finds out is not only sinister but criminal. To find Lindsay, she must follow the path that Lindsay went on. But will it be too late? Is Lindsay in trouble?
I devoured this book from cover to cover and could not put it down. Like a stereotypical wealthy family, Lindsay and Beth’s father is dismissive and their mother is knocked up on sleeping pills all the time. The relationship that Beth has with the family’s live-in housekeeper is sweet though. The book kept me guessing the whole way through but Author Mary Kelikoa does a stellar job of putting all of the pieces together in the end. This book is perfect for fans of Stephanie Wrobel and Jeneva Rose.
