Ahana Chopra has been through a lot. She escaped an abusive marriage. Her mother died unexpectedly. She finds herself the spokeswoman for an international women’s rights conference, which pushes her far out of her comfort zone and requires her to travel to the United States.

As if her life weren’t hectic enough, Ahana becomes involved in two very different online relationships. Rohan Brady is a charismatic, charming rogue based out of New Orleans. Introduced by her boss, Rohan and Ahana work together planning the upcoming conference. Jay Dubois comes into Ahana’s life through an online therapy group, where they bond over the loss of loved ones.

Ahana embarks on a wild, dangerous journey of personal growth. Can she learn to trust again and make a new life for herself, or will she find herself in the clutches of another abuser?

Louisiana Catch wasn’t at all what I expected, but I couldn’t put it down. Ahana is a strong, multi-faceted female, and I loved how Vikram wove her Indian heritage throughout the book. This novel tackles major issues like abuse, relationships, and the dangers of online romance while sending readers on a splendid, fast-paced thrill ride.
