Love Brewing: The Love Brothers, Book 3
Love Brewing, the third book in the series, follows Dominic, the black sheep and proverbial odd duck of the family. After coming out as bisexual, he is quickly disowned by his staunchly conservative father, losing not only his job at Love Brewing but his home as well. Dominic then runs to the arms of the one woman he always has, Diana. Their on-again/off-again relationship always seems to end badly, yet she always takes him back; that is, until this time. She’s finally moved on, but is Dominic willing to accept that, or will he finally pursue the type of relationship he should have all along?
As a fan of the series, I found myself disappointed with this installment. Told from the third-person point of view, there is a lot of time-hopping between the past, present, and several points of time in the future, and many times this makes the narrative distracting and confusing. There also seemed to be an unusual level of angst compared with previous volumes. The drama seemed over the top without advancing the storyline. While each book can be read as a standalone, it is highly suggested that you read the series in order.
