Tailored Realities

Brandon Sanderson is one of the most prolific fantasy and science fiction authors alive today. It is a wonder with all of the novels he has written that he even has time to write short stories, but it seems he does because this is a collection of short stories that take place in his larger Cosmere Universe – though one does not need to be familiar with those works to enjoy these stories.

Most of the stories were published in other locations, such as magazines, and there are a couple of brand new stories including a new novella to complete the collection. There are a total of nine stories in all. Before each story is artwork that is associated with the story and provides a little teaser about what the story will be about.

Similar to other short story collections there are going to be some stories that will be a readers favorite and others that are not as good as the others, though overall this collection is full of good stories. Personally one of my favorite stories was “Brain Dump” and “Moment Zero”.
