Pollard dispels the myth and assumption that only extroverts are good at sales. Extroverts typically rely on their personality and charm to land a sale. Pollard argues that introverts can use their strengths and follow his proven process to hone their skills in sales to outperform extroverts in selling.
It is refreshing to hear Pollard’s personal journey from reluctant and fearful salesman to the company’s top salesman in a matter of a few short months. Pollard teaches you his seven-point process of establishing trust with the customer, asking questions to help understand the customer’s needs, speaking to the right customer, telling stories, dealing with objections, pushing the customer without being pushy, and assuming the sale. I highly recommend this book for anyone (introverted or not) who is interested in learning about his highly-effective sales process.
