What to Do When Someone Dies is about a woman named Ellie whose husband Greg dies in a car crash alongside another woman, Milena. The whole story is about Ellie denying that Greg was cheating on her and doing whatever she can to prove it. She even goes as far as getting a job at Milena’s company disguised as her own best friend. All of Ellie’s friends think she has gone off the deep end and try to help her through this difficult time.

The clues in this book were intricately woven together so I was glad when the whole story was summed up at the end. The characters in What to Do When Someone Dies are each very interesting, which makes it challenging to figure out who is and isn’t trustworthy. Although Ellie does go a bit crazy with her investigations, her actions and thought process are easy to follow and this makes the book’s story run along smoothly until the end. This book is perfect for fans of mystery and suspense.
